Purpose of Parish Executive Committees: The Parish Executive Committee exists to implement the decisions made by the General Body of the parish. The General Body, comprising members of the church community, discusses and decides on important matters concerning the parish’s activities and initiatives. The Executive Committee then takes these decisions and puts them into action.
Functions of Committee Meetings: Committee meetings serve as platforms where members gather to discuss and plan the execution of decisions made by the General Body. These meetings are essential for coordinating efforts and ensuring everyone is aligned with the goals set forth by the parish community. They provide an opportunity for members to voice their opinions, offer insights, and contribute to the decision-making process.The primary responsibility of the Parish Executive Committee is to execute the decisions made by the General Body promptly and efficiently.
