Every Believer a Missionary

The Edavaka Mission is a vital part of the Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelists Association (M.T.V.E.A), focused on parish-level mission activities. Its core goal is to ensure that every member of the church becomes a missionary — sharing the joy and certainty of salvation with all those around them.

The Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelists' Association, established in 1924, holds an official position within the Mar Thoma Church and operates with a comprehensive seven-point programme — encompassing intercession, Bible study, sharing personal spiritual experiences, visiting homes, and assisting the sick and the needy.

The Edavaka Mission plays a crucial role in disseminating the gospel and spearheading mission endeavours within the parish — deepening believers' understanding of the Bible, exchanging spiritual experiences, and engaging in fervent intercessory prayer.
