The choir holds a significant role in worship services. In Eastern Worship, the richness of the liturgy, comprised of prayers, hymns, and chants rooted in theological and biblical principles, stands out. The Church Choir, in this context, plays a crucial part in ensuring these elements are delivered effectively.

The primary aim of the choir is to enhance the Holy Qurbana and spread the teachings of Jesus Christ through music. The songs sung by the choir aid believers in their spiritual journey with Christ, guide the congregation in worship, and provide an opportunity for individuals to contribute their talents and become integral parts of the worship experience. Both humans and angels possess the gift of making music, and there exists a strong connection between music and heavenly encounters.

In the book of Revelation, there are descriptions of angels singing praises and worshiping God in Heaven, indicating that heavenly realms are filled with divine melodies around God’s throne. Thus, it is only fitting for God’s earthly followers to engage in similar acts of worship through music.

In our church, the choir participates in our worship services, joining their voices with the congregation to create a harmonious atmosphere of worship and praise.
