The choir holds a significant and irreplaceable role in our worship services. In Eastern Christian worship, the richness of the liturgy — comprised of prayers, hymns, and chants deeply rooted in theological and biblical truth — stands out as a defining characteristic. The Church Choir plays a crucial part in ensuring these sacred elements are delivered with faithfulness and beauty.
The primary aim of the choir is to enhance the Holy Qurbana and spread the teachings of Jesus Christ through music — songs that aid believers in their spiritual journey with Christ and guide the whole congregation into deeper worship.
Both humans and angels possess the gift of making music, and there exists a profound connection between music and heavenly encounters. In the book of Revelation, angels sing praises and worship God — it is fitting for God's earthly followers to join in that chorus through music offered in His name.
